I went into my facebook the other day and found you had deleted one of my videos. Not only that, you included a nasty threat, stating you would delete any video if I did this horrible affront again and you would disable my facebook account.  The crime was, I made a birthday video for my son titled ...

"Happy Birthday Jim 2009" (video below)

Birthday Brunch For Jim @ Yahoo! Video

It included snapshots of his birthday which I couldn't attend because we live far apart. I also put an old song I had laying around as background music and a Happy Birthday melody. Never would I believe that this innocent video (which was NOT MADE FOR PROFIT) would infringe on anyone's ability to make money. We live in such a greedy world; I am becoming quite disillusioned in my old age. I have for 10 years made WebPages to celebrate my family and friends’ special days and never before was I made to feel guilty about it.  I have deleted the other videos I've uploaded and will never upload another one again.  If you want to disable my account SO BE IT. I was under the impression that facebook was a friendly community but now I think differently. I will think twice before I upload a picture or ANYTHING again. I hope you and whoever pointed to my video and claimed COPYRIGHT make tons of money off the backs of the little people who are the backbone of our nation. Thanks for all the bad feelings sent my way. I have created videos for years now... it's my hobby. When I first started I used VHS tapes and mailed my videos to family and friends... Since the evolution of the PC and the Internet, I started using that ON-LINE Modi operandi (I'll bet that word is copyrighted)... The copyright gestapo has taken down or muted so many of my videos, I don't know what to do ... I wish there was a site that you could upload copyrighted material but PAY for it... Then maybe all the greedy people out there would get a cut and be satisfied... WADAYATHINK? Let me know if anyone knows of such a site...
