Isn't it amazing, anyone who said the 2003 Iraq war was actually waged
because of our need and dependency on oil, was labeled unpatriotic or worse
UN-AMERICAN. Now today, while into the 6th year of this sick, preempted illegal
war, Republican presidential hopeful, JOHN McCAIN, is publicly... touting that
same message. The hypocrisy is so palpable you can smell the foul odor of it.

It wasn't that long ago another sweetheart of the Republican party mentioned
this:
America's elder statesman of finance, Alan Greenspan, has shaken the White House
by declaring that the PRIME MOTIVE FOR THE WAR IN IRAQ WAS OIL.
In his long-awaited memoir, Greenspan, a Republican whose 18-year tenure as
head of the US Federal Reserve was widely admired, will also deliver a stinging
critique of President George W Bush’s economic policies.
However, it is his view on the motive for the 2003 Iraq invasion that is likely
to provoke the most controversy. “I am saddened that it is politically
inconvenient to acknowledge what everyone knows: the Iraq war is largely about
oil,” he says. from:

So many of us knew or surmised as much but whenever we tried to express this we
were shouted down by the Bush backers claims, that we were full of hate,
therefore could not see the whole picture... What Whole Picture was that?
Oh yeah, the mayhem, torture, oil people getting richer and complete sorrow and
grief. What a sad world Bush and his Neocons has produced for mankind. We need
change. Let's hope we have all awakened or matured to realize that need.
