Here's a reply from a dailykos blogger Templar: "I remember when
Goldwater was running around saying the same BS (I was in college
at the time). The voters gave Johnson the greatest landslide
since FDR. Relax - the more these cretins say - the more votes
they lose. How many senior citizens will vote for someone who
wants to take away their social security? How many young people
will support someone who wants to repeal the expanded health care
law? How many minorities will give their vote to a candidate who
wants to kick them out of the local coffee shop? It's just a
matter of time. Caribou Barbie has just about used up her 15
minutes of fame."
Words of encouragement for sure but are they accurate? Here's my
response...
It happened before: Yes, I too remember the Goldwater vs. Johnson election of 1964 and my fellow workers at the municipal courthouse were all afraid that Goldwater had a chance. But it seems we were all a bit wiser back then in the 60's or should I say more Liberal. But after Reagan was elected (no one ever thought this joker would get into the oval office) things changed and somehow the Republicans started to debase Liberalism as though it was something to fear, worse loath. And as they say, THE REST IS HISTORY. So even though these tea bag people seem nuttier than a squirrel's turd, if enough of them hop on the Nut Bandwagon... our goose is cooked and "Critical Thinking" will become a thing of the past. Lord help us! :-(

This Is The Truth the Republican Party Operatives here and elsewhere Don’t Want You To Read or Know…
As many of you can see, there is a very clear agenda by the extreme right wing Republicans (not you evil “RINOs”) on these boards to silence truth and free speech. Any speech that challenges their narrow and supremacist anti-Constitutional views…well, you see they attack and castigate and try to silence such free speech by false labelings and unsubstantiated and frivolous allegations.
We’ve all seen its decadent mindset here. It is hate-based and exemplary of the bigotry that eschews from the extreme religious right. It’s everything the Founders sought to protect us against when they gave us our secular Constitution.
As many of you know, I worked in the Republican Party for a couple of decades. I’m a Reagan Democrat activist who watched as the extreme “religious right” absconded with the once-great Party of Reagan and turned it into the anti-Constitutional Theocracy party that it has become. It has a clearly stated agenda to overthrow our Constitution by all means “…whatever the costs.” and to replace it and our American values of free speech and speech with their narrow and extreme religious dictates. It’s why the evangelical Christian militias were gonna kill police officers and then murder their families, women and children and relatives and friends…potentially hundreds of families in a parade…as some precursory match-stick to ignite an even larger evangelical Christian militia uprising to overthrow our Government and Constitution and replace it with their narrow evangelical biblical interpretations…
“…whatever the cost.” It’s Macchiavellian.
If you believe anything the RepubliKlanists say...you're just about as stupid as they believe you are!
