It would be nice if you would use the correct format when you blog. Not all of us want to scroll through you over use of graphics to get past your blog to read something we're interested in. You do this everytime you blog, it's just plain rude.

I love that comment. And with luck our military will keep the writer from that experience. Always remember the George Orwell observation, "We sleep safely in our beds because rough men stand ready in the night to visit violence on those who would harm us."

With our military carrying the fight to terrorists and their supporters in a foreign land, the author of that quote I find so homey may never have to experience that fear first hand.

"Fighting them over there so we won't have to fight them over here" is not a strategy it is a SLOGAN.

That's fine if you feel "safe" while our sons and daughters are being killed in Iraq.

I cannot sleep safely at night knowing the only thing we are doing to stop terrorism is to send our brave soldiers to their deaths in a foreign land.

We as Americans are supposed to be braver than that. Give me liberty of give me death.

Anything else is just cowardice.

Hi D Tree, it's me thinkingblue, Thanks for the comment. You seem to be the only one on this post's reply list, to get the crux of my message and that is... STOP USING OUR KIDS AS SACRIFICIAL LAMBS FOR YOUR MASSIVE MISTAKES AND BRING THEM THE HELL HOME.

Holy cow, I thought ALL Dems had somewhat of a head on their shoulders. But, oh how wrong one can be. Thank goodness, (at least I hope) they, the right-winged ones, are only a small fraction of the Democratic progressive movement (but why are they with us, when they would have so many more in agreement with them within the rightwing neocon crusade???).

A misguided responder felt the need to quote the mantra of the Republicans, (I swear if I hear the "FIGHT EM OVER DER SO WE DON'T HAVE TO FIGHT EM HERE" one more time... I am gonna... I am gonna... Just burst out in tears, through sheer ennui...) Where do these people get these "SLOGANS"? Never mind, I already know, they come from the likes of the limbaughs, coulters and savages et al.... All the sycophants (polite word for ass-kissers) on the neocon/reaganite/bushite, far, far right.

And to anyone who does not like my blog format and thinks it's rude... For holy blog-sake, please do me a BIG favor AND DON'T CLICK ON IT... They always show my name, so when you see it RUN FOR THE HILLS. Save yourself, from the lack of graces and refinement you seem to uncover in my uncouth blog.
